Dear FloridaBimmer Members,
It is with great happiness that we present a unique opportunity for all of our members and kids currently battling cancer. Since we’ve started, FloridaBimmer has truly been an awesome club to be part of and our events just seem to get better and better. For this year’s rally, FloridaBimmer is partnering with Eva Longoria’s Rally for Kids With Cancer to present Rally for Kids: Operation Disney. Our goal is to raise awareness for the need for research and treatment funding for pediatric cancers. We ask each of you to help reach out to companies for sponsorships. In return for sponsorships of $500+ dollars, we will print decals of the donating company’s name to be placed on each one of our cars on the rally. The amount of media attention this will reach will be huge! We will send out more information you all can use to get sponsors. We all look forward to seeing each one of you for this unique event.

Event Details:
Starting Point: Opa Locka Airport
Notes: The company that will be donating the private plane to fly out the kids is located here. We will meet outside their office/hangar. The flight is set to leave around 11am BUT celebrity appearances and news stations will be there as early as 8am!
Ending Point: Orlando (Will be set based on where the media decides to set up)
Time/Date: 9AM/ Saturday, October 1, 2011
Notes: As mentioned, the flight is said to leave at 11am but like the rally back in December we have to get our cars ready with all of the decals from company sponsorships that will be donating.
Donation: $30 to participate in the rally. (Per Car)
Notes: While the donation is much lower than last year’s December rally, please take into consideration that we need your help to raise funds! Reach out to your community for sponsorship!

Last night’s Hooter’s Meet was great! We had about 10-13 bimmers show up. Always nice to see a couple new faces with the regulars!

We had an amazing day on our Drive & Shoot down South Beach and Fort Lauderdale Strip. Great turnout with over 50+ members.
The event ended at Xtreme Indoor GoKarting in Fort Lauderdale where members got to test their skills at the largest track in South Florida.
